Okay,
So I don't normally post my woes or issues. Anyone that knows me, knows I have my anti-drama llama and everything. However, it's really hard to say exactly how much this sweet gesture really touched me without some backgrand info! So....3 1/2 years ago I herniated a disc in my neck. Top that off with after seeing a physiatrist (pain doctor) for 2 years, I am now going through a crazy battery of tests to see why my myopathy (muscle disease) is continuing to progress. Next up is an EMG which is where they stick needles in your muscles and send electric shocks through the muscles to see how they react while you are attached to a machine to read the results. Essentially, my muscles knot up (all over!!), making EVERYTHING, even sitting, rather excruciating! I am on anti-seizure meds (Dr thinks my muscle knots are due to mini-seizures in the muscles), muscle relaxers, NSAIDs and Lortab every day. Hubby is at Med School (1st year), so he can't really help me much since he has to study roughly 18 hours a day. He has to live about an hour and a half away. There's just no way to drive 3 hours roundtrip a day and get

Now add on top of that, my department has taken on 2 VERY large processes on my mighty team of 3, where 1 of the 3 is now on FMLA until January (Sept-Feb is our busiest season), where the only other person is brand new to a very complex Incentive Plan. So now instead of 3, there is now 2 and I am the only person with ANY training or expert knowledge on it. I have FMLA too but at this rate, I feel as though I HAVE to be there every day regardless of how much pain I am in.

The crazy thing is I was begging and pleading with anyone to think of me if they had one of these pins to trade, I definitely had some awesome stuff put aside to lure one away but I missed all the auctions...the last 2 weeks I have been INSANELY busy and haven't been on DPF much lately. This pin was MADE for my main collection which is princesses with horses! Yep, that's right Charlie sent me Pin 98462: Disney Store Europe- Rapunzel and Maximus. This pin is super cool because my hubby (Josh) collects Rapunzel too so this is a great "shared" pin between us.

I cried...quite a bit actually while I read her super sweet note which said this: I am sending you this pin because you have been a truly fabulous friend to me and it means a lot. Consider this a "thank you". All the best to you and your hubby. Charlie xxx

Please excuse the somewhat rambling story here, my meds leave me slightly loopy :)

Thank you Charlie, from the absolute bottom of my heart, your kindness and thoughtfulness have made my MONTH!!! I have this crazy, goofy grin on my face and you better believe I will find something in my mounds of pins that shouwill make its way back to you! In your honor too, I will be zapping a random person on the forum too. I love the idea of pin-it-forward (and back lol) :) I love ya kiddo! *bighugs* You are amazing!!!!

I am sorry to hear about the troubles, but am thrilled that both of you are part of the family here!!!

Congratulations on the zap and way to go Charlie!!!

Jade, for all that you do for so many, I think it's WONDERFUL that you got such an amazing zap and from someone so dear as Charlie. Well done to both of you.

I'm sorry you're still not feeling well, doll. Dan and I are hoping we can see you and Josh again in February!! We (and Queen Mum) miss and love you two dearly!! xoxo

Jade, first of all, I'm so sorry that you are going through this difficulty. I admire that you don't like to bring that drama to the forum, as I do the same, but if you ever need to talk, I'm a PM away!

I am super excited to see that you got zapped with such a great pin!! Congratulations!!

And way to go on the zap, Charlie!!

Jade I could not think of a more deserving recipient. You have a been a most generous and kind member and deserve to be on the receiving end of such a fabulous gift. I know the pain of disc problems all too well as I have several, so if you ever want to vent feel free to hit me up anytime.

Woot zap!

Congratulations! It is very much deserved, and I'm so sorry to hear that you are having a hard time. I hope things will get a lot better for you :)
