"Fits" are fights, and I found that part too funny. He and I are both hot tempered, stubborn, strong-willed people. It has cracked my mellow, easy going husband up since the day he was born and we started butting heads. However... I will always love him and he will always love me :)


As, far as part three... I feel like people love who they love, and responsible consenting adults should all be given the same rights when it comes to marriage. From experiences with my own friends, the issues with children and benefits just seem sooo unfair to me. Many people on this thread have said it much better than I can, and I also love the Ann Hathaway speech that was posted.

(A little back story for all of you to understand)
First time I met him I thought he was the biggest jerk ever. In fact I totally brushed him off when my friend (his then girlfriend) introduced us. As he came around my group of friends more we became friends but not super close. The one thing that still bothers him (since he was the jock of school) he took my friend to prom. But he asked me to dance with him (both senior and junior prom) and I denied him both times! Haha. He asked a lot of other friends to dance with him but I was the only one that denied him! Haha (I tease him about it all the time). A couple years after the friend (who is no longer my friend) broke up we started hanging out and we started taking and ended up dating. And it still makes me laugh. How love at first sight totally was not I'm the case for me at least. but If I could say anything and he would read this is: Im sorry I didn't give you a chance in high school. You would have made my high school experience WAY better then what it was. And I love you more then you could imagine.


I believe that two people that love each other should be able to get married. Gay
/ straight - we All love. We all should have the equal opportunity to get married. (Ohmy god I cant wait to attend my first gay wedding) I'm dating someone who isn't from the U.S. and because he isn't a citizen it's viewed that of course because a person who is a citizen is going to marry a non citizen for money/ them to get papers. So I know I will have to go through the extensive process to prove our government that I am in love. And not doing it for any other reason. This somewhat bothers me. I already had to prove it to my family now ill have to for the government in HOPES they won't deny us marriage. Everyone has the right to love. NO MATTER: Citizen, non- citizen,Gay,Straight.


And I believe that gay marriage should be just as regular as straight marriages. If everyone is so post to be equal why do we limit on who can't get married to who? As long as two individuals love each other I don't understand why the government has to stop them.

2) Love at first sight? It does exist! When I met my prince for the first time in person, it was all smooth sailing. He was (and still is) the perfect gentleman. We spent the day talking and discovering the commonalities between us. Let me add that nothing inappropriate happened that day. Then when it came time for me to go home that night, he escorted me all the way across the city to my doorstep to make sure that I got home safely, gave me a sweet good night kiss, and then went on to take the same long trek back to his house. The next day he asked me if I wanted to be his boyfriend. :) It is now 6 1/2 years later, and we are still going strong!

3) This one hits home on a personal level, because my prince and I cannot be married under the current California state law. Love between two adults in a commited relationship is the same, whether it is a same-sex couple or not. My uncle has been with his partner for more than 50 years, and they made it through together strongly and proudly in a time when it was very hard not only for gay couples, but also for interracial couples. Frankly, I think that the United States as a whole needs to catch up with the times and provide equal marriage rights for all of its citizens on a federal level. The separate state system of approving or denying these rights is ludicrous! This country is called the United States of America and its citizens are free to move from state to state, but the current system is so restrictive that it denies that freedom to couples that might be married in one state, but that same marriage will not be recognized in another state. :(

And he takes all my mood swings as well which is quite a talent! Lol!

Marriage should be allowed to two people who love each other. That's it. That's all marriage is. Its about the love.

Congratulations to the following 5 individuals. On Behalf of my Mum, My personal assistant, and myself, We want to thank all of you for sharing your Love with us. We all believe in dreams and magical memories and we want to send you all warm hugs and kisses even to those that entered this contest. This idea started as a simple one but we all know I usually make strong points on here (as you all know i am a different kind of breed). Wow this one made us all cry and smile at the same time. I love my mother very much but we are so opposite from one another that sometimes we argue. when i read your sons letter i envisioned myself writing that to my own mum. My mum is my best friend and therapist without her I am nobody. the fact that your son thanks you for taking him to Disneyland means that he has developed an emotional connection with Disney because of you. My mum made everything possible to take me to DisneyWorld and till this day that is the magical memory i share with her. My mum is my religion (meaning: my commitment that allows me to believe in me) (sorry i speak in metaphorical terms).
