...been sitting there, on your computer, maybe after watching your prime time TV shows. Suddenly, it hits you- you haven't checked eBay today. Maybe you even think, "I'm sure there's nothing there...", but you check anyway, just in case.

So you're in your tag (you know the one, the one you always check), when suddenly- BAM! There it is...one of your holy grails. And not just ANY holy grail...THE Holy Grail. All of a sudden, your heart rate spikes...maybe you even start to tremble a little. Quickly, you check the price, and almost fall out of your chair.

Because not only is your Grail finally, FINALLY up on the 'Bay, but it's up for a *fraction* of what it last went for...BIN.

Now you're REALLY shaking, quick "ohmygodohmygod"s falling from your mouth. You want to press that button RIGHT NOW, but you know you have to be smart. Your eyes quickly run over the seller's info...100% feedback, description looks fine, pin is in good condition and matches the one in the picture. So you quickly press "BIN", praying that you beat whoever else might be out there.

Log in, confirm, confirm, OMG, how many times do they need me to CONFIRM! YES, give it to me, I WANT IT! Then, you're done. You sit there, shell-shocked. Your husband is like "What the eff is going on over there?". You do a slow pivot in your computer chair, your eyes wide.

"...I think I just got my Holy Grail off eBay for, like, a 3rd of what it usually goes for".

Have you ever? Because, yeah, that happened to me tonight. 🙂

Sadly this hasn't happened to me yet, and honestly, it sounds scary so I'm hoping not haha xP The only time I have seen my grails on Ebay, they are either sold and it is too late, or they are extremely high and not anywhere near a fraction of what they go for haha (darn you Stained Glass Ariel and most Disney Auction Stitch pins!!!).

I'm assuming this happened right now and congratulations!!! Would you mind telling me what the lucky pin is that is going to be treasured for years to come ;D

EDIT: I can't imagine what pin made you go like that lol, I just looked at your collection and you have some amazing pins that I would die to have haha (can someone say Jessica Ariel and Ursula??? lol xP)

I did wanna tell you guys now, but part of me wants to make sure it gets shipped first, JUST in case. I don't want to jinx it 🙂 But if it goes out tomorrow, once it's in the mail, I'll post which pin it is.

And yes, it is a terrifying experience, but a very good one, too!

And Kupo, thanks- I do love my collection, but I also got really lucky that I was around for a lot of the releases, so I got them at cost. I missed the DA era by months, so those are the pins I've had to go back and fight for. On my Wants list, I only had about 7 pins I would consider Grails, and this was the top spot. A lot of times, it's just that they don't show up ever, so you have to pounce on them when they do- I got very lucky that I saw it first!
 
I really want to know what pin it is lol 😀 However, I don't want to risk you jinxing it or anything so please let us know tomorrow. Or once it is shipped! And if you ever want to trade or sell or get ride Jessica Ariel or Ursula *points to self* I can help haha
 
It happened to me 🙂 I got the coveted Tangled marquee for $18.95 this past summer. I could not believe my eyes, but lo and behold, it showed up in the mail.

Happens to Karl ALL the time, I've bought 3 grails and an LE 100 black cauldron for a fraction of the cost. So far no such luck with my pins, fingers crossed,
 
I had the same feeling just a couple of days ago. Saw someone selling their entire collection on FB. I immediately contacted them about two pins in particular and how much they would cost. I had a feeling it was going to be way too expensive but I tried anyways and believe it or not I got them and for under $40 for the both of them!!!!

Got two of my grails coming in today!!!! I can't wait for the mail to come!!!! I've heard from people on this site that these ones are tough to get or to trade for. I will definitely be posting photos of them when they get in my hands. 😀
 
Congratulations!

Most of the grails I'm actively looking for, aren't $$$ pins. Just pins that don't show up that often. The biggest shock I had, was when those 2 Wilderness Lodge pins I needed to get me down to needing only one more WL pin, showed up from 1 seller with BINs I could live with. I do hope for the deal of the century, and sometimes I'll spend a day reloading the newly listed pins hoping for a bargain, because I know it happens. But those are the days where it is "choose 10,20,50 of my counterfeit pins" listing day :facepalm:
 
It once happend to me, and not to long ago. I got the pin out of my sig (the one with Belle and Beast together top right) for a low price I'm very happy with 😀 Still need to change my sig

This has happened to me with holy grails but not THE holy grail! I get so nervous that when It's loading I feel like it takes ages and someone else is going to buy it! My hands get all sweaty and inside I feel like I won the lottery when I finally hit "pay" on eBay. OMGosh, yes I know the feeling.

This happened to me last week, only not with pins, with a doll. Your description is EXACTLY what happened to me, but my item hasn't been shipped yet, so I've yet to share my excitement with my mother. I don't want to jinx it either!!

They were priced pretty high...I freaked out and immediately messaged the seller, stating that I would purchase both for a certain price (because I figured I had nothing to lose by asking) and they accepted! I was shocked that I got two grail pins in one swoop for a price I could deal with. 🙂

I'm so curious to know which pin you got!
